Virtual Simulation Imaging
Computer generated virtual simulation effectively integrates three previously separate but important processes of treatment planning: cross sectional anatomical localizaton, radiographic portal simulation and verification of geometric treatment parameters . The patient's cross sectional anatomy from CT and or MRI data is reconstructed in three dimensions to create a volumetric patient image.
