A limiting factor in improving treatment is the ability of the physician to identify and localize the extent of the tumor or target structure. The ability to digitally combine images such as MRI, MRA, CT, PET, SPECT or other modalities, provides the Physician with a clearer functional as well as anatomic image from which to define the treatment target.
