DR. LEAN:
Eva K. Lean, MD was born in Poland and earned her medical degree from the Medical Academy in Gdansk , Poland in 1982. She completed her internship and then residency in 1988 at University of Southern California , Los Angeles . After graduating from USC, Dr. Lean practiced and taught at USC in Los Angeles and then moved to North San Diego County , where she practiced in Oceanside and then opened an office in Vista in April of 1992.
Dr. Lean has served as Medical Director of Radiation Oncology services of Tri-City Medical Center since 1991, chaired for many years on the Cancer Committee, and currently serves as cancer liaison for the Cancer Committee.
Dr. Lean is a member of California Board of Directors for the America Cancer Society. She serves as the secretary of the executive committee of the Tri-City Medical Center Foundation and serves on the Stewart sub-committee, as well as the American Cancer Society's Access to Care Committee.
As an active member of the medical staff of Tri-City Medical Center, Dr. Lean participates in multi-disciplinary treatment of cancer patients and has initiated some vital programs including initiation of interstitial brachytherapy for prostate cancer and implementation of IMRT technology. Dr. Lean also specializes in the treatment of breast and GYN cancers.
Dr. Lean is a member of the medical staff at Tri-City Medical Center, Scripps Memorial Hospital, Encinitas, and Palomar Medical Center.
Dr. Lean is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Lean's special interests include snow-skiing and art history. |
